  to be honest, I was going to gatekeep this place. it’s a small restaurant using fresh ingredients straight from Italy, homemade pasta and sauces prepared right in front of your eyes (at least if you sit at the bar). the staff is friendly and service quick.

• the french bastards

  a few locations across the city, they sell sandwiches (vegan option) at lunchtime and all of the classic, delicious pastries.

• la potager de charlotte

  fully vegan restaurant, serving creative vegetable-focused dishes. quite expensive, but worth it as a special treat.

• mamiche

  cute bakery, very good croissants.

• land & monkeys

  all-vegan bakery, selling all of the french classics and a few other savoury creations including sandwiches and “quiche”. the babka roll is to die for.
