blueberry ginger chia jam
homemade condiments make me feel like I have my life together. here’s a super quick jam for bread, oats, yogurt, anything.
for 1 jar:
1 cup frozen blueberries
grated (frozen) ginger, I grate 20x with a microplane
pinch of salt
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp water
1-2 tbsp liquid sweetener of choice
method:
to a small saucepan, add all of the jam ingredients. bring to a simmer, and cook for 5 minutes. transfer to a glass jar, cool completely before adding the lid.
wait 1-2 hours before serving as the jam will thicken in that time.
